SPAIN – Balearic Islands

The Balearics offers the glorious sun, miles of beach, beautiful scenery and a vibrant nightlife.

Beneath the towering mountains of Mallorca you’ll find dazzling whitewashed villas and fine restaurants filled with friendly locals and celebrities, while Ibiza’s old town is the place to head to join the bustling jet-set crowd in the early hours. During the day, enjoy the tranquillity of the sea and the calm offshore breezes and during the night, take pleasure in the music bars, discothèques, and Spanish tapas at the local restaurant.

From Ibiza depart for the lovely island of Formentera to spend the day snorkeling and swimming in quiet comfort. Return to Ibiza and plunge into a night of its world-famous nightlife.

Like most of the Mediterranean, the Spanish Balearic Islands yacht chartering season generally runs from April to the end of October. The summer season in July and August is the hottest and tends to have lighter winds. This is also the high season as far as yacht charter goes.

Other good times to charter your yacht is generally on either of the shoulder seasons (April-May and September-October), each side of the main summer season, as the temperatures are still comfortable, and the onshore tourists have yet to arrive in their largest numbers.
