During the summer of 2025, from June to September, 3,114 yachts were recorded along the coast stretching from the Costa Smeralda to the La Maddalena Archipelago, marking a true record in attendance compared to previous years. Among these, 347 were superyachts, with an estimated total value of $21.1 billion. Owners come from 51 countries, highlighting Gallura’s international appeal and prestige as an exclusive destination for those seeking unique maritime experiences. The study, promoted by Cipnes Gallura in collaboration with UniOlbia and the Maritime Directorate of Northern Sardinia, is the first in Europe to combine official data and international platforms to monitor the presence of superyachts, also analyzing their economic and tourism impact on the region. The most frequented locations include Santa Teresa Gallura, La Maddalena, Costa Smeralda, Porto Rotondo, Olbia, and San Teodoro, all destinations that combine natural beauty, well-equipped ports, and high-quality services for international yacht enthusiasts.
