General Overview

S/Y GENNY is a recently built Sunreef 80 available to cruise the Greek islands, either Cyclades, Saronic & Argolic Gulfs as well as Ionians.

She can accomodate up to 10 guests in 5 cabins. Crew of 6 members

Based in Athens, Greece.

Interiors

GENNY charter catamaran combines both elegance and superior style: main deck offers a bright salon featuring a large couch and a well equipped bar corner. The dining aerea offers an ample dining table for 10 guests. Separate fully equipped galley. A vast, central lounging space with a panoramic view which opens both onto the bow terrace and cockpit.

Exteriors

Genny charter catamaran’s exterior spaces are beyond imagination. S/Y GENNY charter catamaran has classy lines and her modern style with a classic edge. The forward area benefits from a cozy lounge, sofa and sundeck well sheltered from sun and wind. To the aft, the salon merges with the generous cockpit extended with a large aft bathing platform.

Crew

Captain – Giuseppe Marinucci, Italian

Giuseppe is from Termoli, Italy. Young man of many talents, Giuseppe boasts an impressive six-year tenure as a Captain. Beginning his journey at a family shipyard, he has transitioned from a pilot boat driver to roles as a sailor, Deck officer, and Master on various passenger ships and yachts worldwide.
Giuseppe’s maritime prowess shines through his captaincy of the 49m sailing yacht OHANA across France, Greece, and Italy. Additionally, he led the 24m sailing yacht Myra for eight months, exploring the captivating waters of the Greek Ionian Islands and Cyclades. After that, he took the helm of Genny in 2023 collecting excellent feedbacks
Beyond his professional achievements, Giuseppe’s vibrant personality and deep-seated love for the sea distinguish him as a remarkable figure in the maritime community. With a background rooted in a maritime family, diverse experiences and an unwavering passion for the open waters, Captain Giuseppe epitomizes the essence of a seasoned mariner, always prepared to tackle any nautical challenge with finesse and zest.
Fluent in Italian as his native language and fluent in English.

Chef – Mattia Vedelago, Italian

Mattia, a dynamic and talented chef hailing from Treviso in Italy, embarked on his culinary journey at the esteemed ALMA School of Italian Culinary Arts immediately following his secondary education. Since 2010, he has refined his skills in a multitude of renowned restaurants spanning Italy and the UK. In addition to his restaurant experiences, Mattia ventured into the realm of yachting, working onboard a 30-meter gulet  in Greece for the summer season of 2023, which he is continuing to do this year.
Recognized for his commitment, dependability, and meticulousness, Mattia continuously aims to ensure the utmost satisfaction of his guests by accommodating even the most challenging dietary preferences.
Fluent in both Italian and English, with a foundational grasp of French, he epitomizes adaptability and commitment on his culinary journey.

Chief Stewardess – Francesca Rosato, Italian

Francesca, a vibrant individual born in 1985, underwent a significant career shift three years ago, diverging from her role as a project manager in international corporations. Armed with a degree in Political Science, her heart guided her towards a complete lifestyle change, ignited by her profound passion for the sea and hospitality. Originating from the picturesque South of Italy, Francesca embodies fervor, ambition, and industriousness, driven by a genuine commitment to ensuring her guests feel truly welcomed and comfortable on board.
Francesca’s journey into yachting commenced with her role as a stewardess on a 24-meter gulet based in Southern Italy in 2022. Building upon this experience, she transitioned to a 30-meter catamaran in Greece, where she continues her yachting adventure as a stewardess, further honing her skills and passion.
Her linguistic versatility amplifies her capabilities, as Francesca fluently speaks Italian, English, German, and Spanish. Francesca brings a distinctive amalgamation of skills and enthusiasm, crafting unforgettable moments for all who embark with her.

Engineer – Luigi Ferrazzano, Italian

Luigi, hailing from Italy, brings a quiet, calm, and thoughtful professionalism to his role.
Renowned for his diligence, Luigi has forged a strong working bond with Captain Giuseppe and the rest of the crew aboard Genny, ensuring the yacht and its equipment maintain peak performance and perfect cleanliness. With a past in the Italian marine military division, Luigi is adapted to working at sea. As a seasoned mechanic, he relishes the challenge of solving technical issues, assisting his captain with everyday routines which eagerly comply with his role as the onboard engineer.
Luigi is kind and is always around to help his guests with the most contagious smiles!!
He speaks Italian and basic English.

Stewardess – Diana Iaccarino, Italian

Diana Iaccarino, originally from Naples Italy, brings a blend of Italian charm and Spanish flair to her current home in Tarifa, Spain. With a background as an officer cadet, Diana is poised to elevate her career by joining the crew onboard the catamaran Genny.
Driven by a passion for maritime adventures and a desire for excellence, Diana is eager to contribute her skills and dedication to the success of the Genny catamaran. Her multicultural background, coupled with her professional experience, positions her as a valuable asset to any maritime team.
Fluent in her native Italian, Diana also possesses excellent Spanish skills by living in the country.. Furthermore, her proficiency in English allows her to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests and crew members.

Deckhand – Nicolò Ferrazzano, Italian

Niccolò is a skilled young man with a background in maritime studies from l’istituto nautico G. Boccardi in Termoli. With a passion for the sea, Niccolò has been dedicating his career to the marine industry. Since 2020, he has served as an mooring operator at Porto Turistico in Termoli, where he oversees the docking and mooring of boats, ensuring their safety and security.
In addition to his mooring responsibilities, Niccolò also handles the maintenance and winter storage of small vessels at the marina.
Niccolò possesses excellent interpersonal skills, allowing him to effectively communicate with the owners, colleagues, and visitors to the marina.
Fluent in Italian as his native language, he also has a good command of English and Spanish.

 

Rates and Terms

Genny charter catamaran weekly rates (VAT applicable) MYBA, WMT:

High season (15 June – 15 September and events): € 78.000,00;
Mid season (1 May – 14 June & 16 September – 31 October): € 70.000,00;
Low season (1 November – 30 April):  € 55.000,00.

VAT if applicable

Rates include: hire, crew, yacht insurance, yacht linen laundry.

Rates do not include: food and beverages for guests, fuel consumption for the yacht, for the watercraft and the dinghy, berthing fees, personal communications costs (internet, fax, if on board), personal laundry.
Fuel consumption 130 lt h at 8.5 knots.
